This Privacy Policy applies to the Z5 Movies, Web Series, Shows mobile application. The app is provided as a free service by Z5 Movies, Web Series, Shows Developer and is intended for use as is.

The app stores diary entries, ratings, notes, quiz results, achievements, recent searches, AI Chat consent status and visible AI Chat history locally on your device. The app does not require an account, subscription or in-app purchase.

The app requests movie and TV metadata from The Movie Database (TMDB) to show popular titles, search results and detail pages. These requests do not include your diary entries, quiz results, achievements or AI Chat messages.

AI Chat is optional and is blocked until you give explicit consent in the app. When you use AI Chat after consenting, the app sends message text, chat_id and the fixed system_prompt about movies and TV to OpenRouter Chat proxy, a third-party AI chat service hosted on Railway at freeopenrouterchat-production.up.railway.app. The purpose is only to generate movie/TV chat responses and recommendations.

OpenRouter Chat proxy, a third-party AI chat service hosted on Railway at freeopenrouterchat-production.up.railway.app acts as a third-party processor/service provider for AI Chat. The service is expected to protect submitted data under the same or equivalent confidentiality and security commitments described in this Privacy Policy.

The AI Chat backend may retain conversation history server-side keyed by chat_id for conversation continuity. You can revoke AI Chat data sharing in Settings. Revocation resets the local chat session and blocks future AI Chat network requests until you consent again.

The app shares data with third parties only as described above for TMDB content loading and optional AI Chat. The developer may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or to respond to a lawful government request.

The app is not intended to knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact the developer at z5movieswebseriesshows@gmail.com.

The developer uses reasonable safeguards for information processed by the app. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the updated policy.
